Deppisch Architects

The building designed by Deppisch Architekten shape two-way and dynamic relations the old buildings as well as the new ones benefit from.

Munich-based company Deppisch Architekten was founded by Michael Deppisch (graduate engineer). In 1993 Deppisch received his degree after studying architecture at the Fachhochschule München (university of applied science Munich). He stayed true to his mother country. Already during his studies he used to work at several companies in Munich, such as SEP Baur + Deby Architekten. In 1994 he started his self-employment in Freising near Munich. The founding of Deppisch Architekten architecture company followed in 2002. Today Michael Deppisch has four employees. Focus of the firm are residential and business buildings, renovations, re-constructions and monumental preservation as well as energy-efficient building along with energy consulting. Apart from that, Michael Deppisch gives speeches on topics such as energy-efficient building, timber buildings, building on the countryside and hotel construction.

Works: Exciting Dialog between Old and New

One building designed by Deppisch Architekten that has received most awards is the Biohotel im Apfelgarten in Hohenbercha (organic hotel at the apple garden in Hohenbercha). The guest house’s philosophy is “Living in tune with nature”, which has been translated by Deppisch Architekten in a convincing way. The new guest house integrates itself into the old inn and the beer-garden in a homogeneous manner. Core of the overall ensemble is the old apple garden, surrounded by the buildings. The slightly inclined organic hotel’s long structure follows the downhill gradient of the terrain.

The whole complex consists of untreated Swiss stone pine. The very plain volume provides high-quality and very sensuous rooms. All rooms provide a direct view across the apple garden. The natural timber radiates a fresh, severe fragrance throughout the inn. The timber also has a very pleasant look and feel thanks to its smooth surface. All 22 rooms can be accessed via an access balcony. Vertical timber panels close the outdoor area and creates a wonderful play of light and shadow, accompanying the visitor on his way to his room.

Thanks to its style and character the new building integrates itself naturally and in a harmonious way into its surroundings, and deals with the available resources in a sustainable, efficient and respectful manner. The recycling-friendly construction that can also be easily disassembled along with the deployment of renewable raw materials guarantee for a low primary energy usage in an exemplary manner. Apart from that, 100 per cent of the energy can be covered by renewable forms of energy, heat is provided by a local heat biogas block heat power plan, the energy requirements are covered by photovoltaic modules on the roof.

By erecting the Biohotel the team of Deppisch Architekten was able to combine the respectful dealing with the place’s traditions and a modern and intelligent way of construction in a amazingly simple and natural fashion.

Creative Achievement: The History of the Place

Deppisch Architekten always manage to enter into a dialog with the context. In clear and compact volumes they pick up the history of the place. Gentle interference strengthen the local character and its expressive power. Especially the renovations and reconstructions made by Deppisch Architekten convince with their eye for what’s really important as well as with their attention to detail.

Working as an architect is not an easy job but if you are talented you may have a lot of success. When you are making a building's project you have to start by creating a solid structure. Nowadays there are a lot of buildings designed by using a metal structure as you may Check Out http://www.hmpattensmetalexpress.com and they are not only looking great but they are also resistant.

The architects are now more intent on experimenting with designs that are offbeat, they also strive hard to make the building more energy efficient. Now some architects prefer promoting their work online which helps them to reach out to more clients. However, you can basically access all sorts of service providers online, for instance, at http://www.sidingstl.com/ you can find The Siding Company.

There are many architects that are good at combining the old and the new when it comes to buildings and interior design. It is important to know what the client wants in order to use your skills and imagination in a proper way. If you visit http://www.matsfloorsmore.com/home you will see many interesting options for floors that will certainly improve the way the room looks especially when you first enter in it.

The building seems to have been a great project and the talent Deppisch Architects have is obvious in all the little details they have thought of. The process of building a house is a difficult one, but things go a lot easier if you get the right kind of help. An architect's talent works very much like a mulching machine: it protects and nurtures; it allows him to give you the best solutions and it keeps you from making wrong choices. Instead, you get the building you dreamed of, with just a hint of extra creativity.
